EXPLANATION OF THE LOGO FOR 2011: TRUE WELL-BEING

For 2011 Incontro Romano proposes the challenge of discovering a life of well-being that is truly worthwhile living: a lifestyle that does not just revolve around material comfort, but that takes into consideration a wholistic vision of the human person and that leads to authentic happiness.

In the logo one finds a drop of water that falls from the word Lifestyle and as it falls it creates concentric circles like a drop of water that falls in a lake. This image is meant to show that personal true well-being always has a transcendent and social dimension. It is important that our attitude towards material things; personal circumstances; all that we have going on in our lives; and the lifestyle that we create, do not isolate us from others but rather open for us opportunities to get closer to others. In our day-to-day lives these are all ways of establishing interpersonal relationships full of undestanding and caring. In whatever circumstance we may find ourselves - be it with our family, at work, or at rest -, we have the opportunity to find happiness in giving of ourselves by serving others, sharing, enjoying, and carrying out restful activities with those around us. In doing this we are like the drop of water that creates ripples that spread farther and farther influencing the lives of others and having a genuinely positive impact on society.

In the logo the lady is a reflexion of the drop of water. She is young, elegant, feminine, and is sustaining the ¨true well-being¨ with her hand that is, moreover, in a position of service. With this attitude of being ready to serve, and with everything we have going on in our lives, we can be the foundation of a lifestlye of happiness that begins with our family. This lifestyle then has an impact on our surroundings and irradiates to all of society.
